Evidence

"Evidence is the means by which allegations can be established as truth or proven to be false."

The means to recognize, collect, preserve, compare, and properly present evidence will often determine the outcome of a criminal or civil case. Testimonial evidence is generally found by interviewing and/or interrogating expert and general witnesses, suspects, family members, friends, acquaintances, etc. Documentary evidence is generally found in the form of writings, records, and official documents. Physical evidence is generally found by searching crime scenes, accident scenes, personal effects, autopsies and special features (blood, hair, DNA, fingerprints etc.)
